SCARSDALE PEDIATRIC ASSOCIATES TELEMEDICINE
Welcome to our telemedicine portal. We have created this for you to be able to have a virtual visit with one of our doctors. We will be able to treat your child’s non-urgent illness or condition while helping to avoid further exposure to COVID-19 as recommended by the CDC and Department of Health.
This service is available Monday through Saturday 9am – 5pm, Sunday 9am - 12pm (and after-hours upon the doctors‘ discretion). You must first call our office and setup an appointment to meet with one of our doctors (914-725-0800). There will be a one-time per child $25.00 administration fee, for which you will be billed. We will then bill your insurance company for the visit. If your insurance does not cover telemedicine, there will be a $60.00 charge for the visit.
We ask that at the time of your appointment, if possible, take your child's temperature right before the visit and keep the thermometer handy. Also, if possible, please have a flashlight available for better lighting if needed. You will not be able to use your cell phone's flashlight if you will use it for the Telemedicine visit.
It is recommended to use a cell phone for the visit, because it usually has a better video quality.
On the date and time of your appointment, you will need to return to our website, www.scarsdalepediatrics.com. Then select the link below which will bring you to our virtual waiting room. You will sign-in using your child’s name, and accept access to your computer’s or cell phone’s camera and microphone.
Please do not enter the virtual waiting room unless you have an actual appointment scheduled.
Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be a charge to your insurance company for certain phone calls.
